A: I do not have a set in stone route yet, but it will be greatly influenced by the passions I plan to follow on my Adventure Travel Counts Page.
Q: Are you doing it alone our with someone else?
I will be riding solo.
Q: Why did you choose to do it on a motorcycle?
A: I chose a motorcycle for a couple of reasons. The first is deep down I always wanted to ride. The second is, being on a bike allows you to experience more than you would in a car.
Q: Why did you choose the Yamaha Tenere?
A: First off I love the way the bike looks. More importantly, it’s one of the more capable adventure bikes currently made. It’s been around forever and the engine is proven.
Q: How did you come up with the name Donkey for your bike?
A: This answer has many parts. 1) I love donkeys. 2) Donkey’s are good at carrying loads. 3) When I think about the type of companion I would want on a trip like this, I think about the movie “Skrek”, Donkey was a great companion. He was dependable, loyal, persistent, underrated, adaptable, optimistic, and brave. All great characteristics.

A: Camp chair and camp shoes. For the most part I’ll try to keep my gear to the absolute minimum.
Q: How do you plan to keep your electronics powered?
A: My bike has a USB, and I might add a second one. I’ll be using these while on the go, but I might bring a small solar panel as well. Outside of these, I’ll charge my devices at hotels/hostels and carry some power banks with me.
