The search for aces
Disc golf has been a passion of mine since 2001. This page: Disc Golf Courses Played | One Lap Around, is to track the courses I’ve played during my trip. Year’s ago while chasing my dream of going to all 50 states, I got the idea I wanted to play disc golf in all fifty. I’m over half way there! So when this trip came about, in my crazy brain, I got the idea like with trying to catch a fish in every country I go to, I would try to play disc golf in as many countries as possible. Not every country has courses, but I’ll do my best to hit the ones that do.
For me disc golf satisfies two main drives of mine. The first being I love to be outdoors in nature. The other is I can be very competitive, especially with myself. Disc golf is a sport where you can always challenge yourself and find was to improve your game. I love this about it. It helps me grow and learn about myself.
